McDaniel Bridal & McDaniel Prom
McDaniel came to us in 2003. The website that they currently had been partially created, but the designer was unable to finish it. We created a new static site for them using DreamWeaver. The new site included the Prom division as well. Each section, the bridal and prom had completely different looks, catering to different clientele.
Since then, we have created a new look for their sites every year. We focused on elegance, ease of maneuverability and search engine optimization. We were successful in all of those areas.
This year, they asked if they could have more ability to do their own updates, including their online catalog. So, we converted their site from a static site to a dynamic site using WordPress. Due to the nature of some of their gowns not being able to sell online, we did not use a generic shopping cart for the catalog. We did customize the cart for viewing purposes only. We were also able to create custom looks for each section (bridal and prom) as we had done before.
